Cardamom futures gain 1.02% on rising demand

Cardamom prices gained 1.02 per cent to Rs 781.40 per kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged their positions, driven by rising demand in the spot market against restricted arrivals from producing regions.

Some export enquiries also influenced cardamom prices at futures trade.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in July rose by Rs 7.90, or 1.02 per cent, to Rs 781.40 per kg in business turnover of 753 lots.
